these are pieces ive been assembling from stuff floating around my studio. i've been enjoying playing with some made as well as some found objects. they're build from cast and altered paper-clay, wood, screws, wire, paper ribbon, paint, and found objects.

This was kind of the culmination of my thought process during this last 5 months, i guess what it boiled down to was drinking whiskey and shooting skeet... 

friendly 40s

I've found in crits if you don't take your self too seriously then people don't hold you as responsible for depth in your work, this is why it is often fun to make silly work about things like drinking 40s on weeknights with your friends.
